My name is Heather Harvey. I began grooming at the age of 16 and started my own mobile grooming company at the age of 21. My grooming experience and business knowledge have grown exponentially throughout the years. In my early years of being in business I was fortunate enough to be able to assist in running a no kill shelter. Here I began working with and rehabilitating scared, abused or traumatized pets. This experience has extended into my own company where I now help ease the past issues that may occur for pets while they are being handled or groomed. My range of animals include puppies, kittens, cats, dogs, ferrets, horses and the occasional farm animal. I stress the importance of starting a new pet or rescue with proper handling and a positive grooming experience. Encouraging new pet owners to begin this journey with their pet as soon as possible.
Over the past 12 years I have made it a point to set myself apart from others in my industry by raising my own bar, both personally and professionally. I have earned the title of 2013 Woman of the Year in my industry. I have also been awarded the Winner of Distinction for 2013 and 2016 through the Better Business Bureau and have been an ongoing member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America. Gary Greene realtors has approached me to be the exclusive groomer for their referral program and have been featured in several magazines and articles.
we are now adding our 4th full time unit to the road and recently added weekend grooming to better accommodate our clients. Your pets comfort is our number one priority. That’s why we proudly use Young Living products to create an all natural, calming environment. If anyone is interested in how to better improve your pets quality of life with the use of natural oils please feel free to ask.
Here at Heather’s Mobile Pet Salon we like to play an active role in the community and help out where ever we can.
We have recently teamed up with Uvalde PD to raise funds for the K9 officer in the event he get injured in the line of duty. A portion of the treat sales and all money raised at local events is going to help with the cost of medical expenses, upkeep and training.
We do local charity events such as “strut your mutt” and other events to raise money as well as awareness about the many pets that are in our local shelters and in need of forever homes.
We proudly support the ” Adopt Don’t Shop” campaign!
